The LSU A. P. Tureaud, Sr., Black Alumni Chapter, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is hosting a three-day event celebrating 30 years of alumni support to LSU. In addition to promoting LSU diversity goals and providing an opportunity for alumni to fellowship and network, the Chapter highlights the legacy of the late A. P. Tureaud, Sr., and raises funds for student scholarships to ensure the continuation of this awesome legacy of inclusion.

Enjoy good food, cash bar, and fellowship, while dancing to live music of alumni entertainers Quiana Lynell, Sean Ardoin, and Christien Bold and the Soul Swing Quartet. Program highlights will also include the unveiling of a large-scale reproduction of the mural honoring the late Julian T. White, LSU’s first African-American professor, and the announcement of the Chapter’s 2018 LSU Legends and Scholarship recipients.

Enjoy the traditional game day tailgating at the renovated Pete Maravich Assembly Center facility, centrally located on campus, and close to good parking. Tureaud Chapter reunion participants meeting place within the center and time for group photo will be forwarded to you via email by October 17.
